Simone Brinkmann-Robinson is a temple member. She believes several men were involved in the theft of the bowl, based on the weight of the thing, but also based on what a neighbor said he saw in the early morning hours of last Thursday.
BRINKMANN-ROBINSON: "He saw a man pulling a cart with a very heavy, round object in it. He couldn't identify the object, but when we showed him a picture, he recognized it."
Brinkmann-Robinson says the bowl is worth $15,000 with the price of copper being what it is. She fears the bowl will be melted down at a metal recycling yard. She says the theft brings bad karma to the people responsible. She says additional bad karma can be avoided if they return the bowl.
