Doctor Jeff Marsee was placed on paid administrative leave February 2nd after the board received complaints about Marsee's management style.
Marsee was hired by a unanimous vote ten months ago despite a story in the North Coast Journal called "College in Revolt" that criticized Marsee's two-and-a-half-year tenure at the College of the Redwoods.
Marsee will receive almost $354,000 and health insurance benefits for a year and-a-half as his settlement with the board.
Dr. Kathleen Hart is the school's Acting Superintendent/President.
