On Tuesday, Sacramento Police shut down the I Zone café on Mack Road. Sergeant Pat Keller says an undercover officer posed as a customer and was able to play keno and slots.
KELLER: "Customers come in. They pay money to a clerk who then loads a magnetic phone-type card with credits. Customers then go to individual computers that are set up in the business. There's about 40 computers. Each one's equipped with a magnetic card reader."
Keller says people in the community tipped them off to the gambling hall.
Sacramento Police also raided the Copy Planet on Florin Road in March. Police say the store was supposed to be a coffee shop, but the only coffee maker in the place was broken.
