A group of Folsom Lake College students are trying to teach their schoolmates about the problem of sex trafficking.
Dane Willis is with Folsom Lake College's branch of the Rotary. He says he was shocked to learn that many victims of sex trafficking end up in Sacramento.
WILLIS: "It's actually one of the worst in the United States. And to have that going on right under our noses…for me, it was a big deal."
Events at the school run thru Wednesday when an F.B.I. agent will talk to students about the extent of the problem in the Sacramento area.
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children last year processed more than 325,000 tips of children being sexually exploited.
