The latest Field Poll shows that four in 10 California voters don't like the way Brown is doing his job as Governor. That's now nearly equal to those that approve of his performance. Brown's job approval ratings have dropped from 48 percent early in his term to 43 percent now.
Not surprisingly, 61 percent of Democrats think he's doing a good job, compared with only 20 percent of Republicans.
Now that Governor Brown has released his latest budget proposal, 43 percent of voters say they don't have enough confidence in him to do what is right to solve the budget deficit.
