Stockton parks have gone to the dogs...well, at least 3 parks which allow dogs to roam off the leash.
The most popular is Barkleyville and veterinarian Julie Damron says hundreds of dogs will likely take part in Beach Blanket Bow Wow posing, for photos.
DAMRON: "We'll have sandbox items, beachballs, chairs, blankets, and umbrellas, and we just kind of create a fun scenes to have pictures of your dog in."
Barkleyville has an obstacle course for dogs, a water
fountain, separate enclosures for large and small dogs on 5
acres.
Dr. Damron who is with the Off Leash Dog Alliance in Stockton says Barkleyville has become the most popular park in Stockton.
Beach Blanket Bow Wow will be held Saturday between 5:00 and 7:00 pm.
