Now that the new terminal with the big, red rabbit is complete, Sacramento County must decide what it will do next. The current version of the master plan calls for construction of new runways, taxiways, and high-speed exits. Those projects were part of the plan from 2007.
Linda Beech Cutler with the county says the travel climate has changed for the economy and with the airlines, "There's, you know, been acquisitions and mergers and so there really is a very different landscape, if you will, for planning both airline relationships as well as passenger volume."
