High winds and unsettled air caused a tornado and multiple funnel clouds to form this afternoon north of

The Sutter County Sheriff's Department and the National Weather Service say a tornado touched down just outside Yuba City this afternoon. There are no known injuries, but there are power lines down near Oswald Road, blown out windows and tree damage.

Storms moving through Yuba and Sutter counties caused funnel clouds this afternoon and multiple tornado warnings from Yuba City northeast to Brownsville and Rackerby.

Several cities in those counties reported hail storms and high winds.
