The job of Mayor of Stockton has probably never been tougher. The city remains in bankruptcy and it is plagued with a high crime rate.
Stockton Mayor-elect Anthony Silva says he is ready to face the challenges, and crime is at the top of his list.
SILVA: "We had 71 homicides last year, probably close to 400 folks shot, I am really going to be supporting initiative programs that will reduce crime and whatever resources I can give to the police officers I am going to do it."
