The Sacramento County Board of Supervisors has approved a plan to lease an existing building at Executive Airport to E-V-A airlines.  That will allow the company to develop a flight school that will include classrooms, offices, dormitories and hangars - and could accommodate up to 100 students.  Linda Cutler is with the Sacramento County Airport System:

Cutler:  "There will be about a 15 million dollar investment in the airport system by EVA.  They anticipate there will be about 35 local jobs generated by this once it is up and running."

Cutler says over the next 12-16 months, the airline will work to get FAA and environmental approval for the facility.  She says for people wondering about additional noise, EVA will not be training with jets - and the planes will be consistent with those already in use at the airport.
