New figures from the Sacramento Association of Realtors show the median sales price for homes in Sacramento County and West Sacramento increased nearly eight percent from February to March. That's the highest month-to-month increase since 2009. The median sales price is nearly 219-thousand dollars for the region.
Home prices are now almost 32 percent higher than they were
just a year ago. The number of sales also went up by about 21
percent, thanks in part to an increase in conventional sales.
The Association of Realtors says that shows that homebuyers are
jumping back into the market. The average time for a home to be on
the market in March was 27 days.
