Patrick Stewart Actor Patrick Stewart, of Star Trek and X-Men fame, is in Nevada City for the Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival. Today on Insight, you'll meet him and hear about the film he narrates.

The 8th annual Wild and Scenic Environmental Film Festival opens Friday, Jan. 15th and runs through Sunday, Jan. 16th in Nevada City. Information: (530) 265-5961.

Cesar Chavez "The Union of Their Dreams" is a new book about Cesar Chavez and the UFW. It tells the story of how Chavez both built and undermined the union. Author Miriam Pawel tells you about it.

Miriam Pawel will give a talk on her book at noon today at the University of California Center, 1130 K St., Suite LL22, Sacramento. She will also do a book signing at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15th at The Avid Reader, 617 Second St., Davis. Information: (530) 758-4040.

"Crime and Punishment" An adaptation of one of the world's greatest novels is on stage in Sacramento. "Crime and Punishment" is playing at a theater in midtown. It's the story of anguish and self-justification of a man who kills another to solve his own financial problems.

"Crime and Punishment" opens Friday, Jan. 15th through Saturday, Feb. 13th at the Ooley Theatre, 2007 28th St., Sacramento. Performances are at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Information: (916) 254-8120.
