Oil Spill Clean-up/ Essay Contest/ Debbie Macomber

Oil Spill Clean-up A UC Davis professor is in Louisiana assisting with animal clean-up and rescue operatoins as a result of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Today on Insight, we'll talk with Mark Ziccardi about his work and what's happening to wildlife being affected along the coastline.

Essay Contest "We don't inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children" was the prompt in a recent high-school essay contest sponsored by Physicians for Social Responsibility. The final presentations were given yesterday and we're joined by one of the winners and one of the judges.

Debbie Macomber The unusually prolific writer Debbie Macomber is back in town. More than 100-million copies of her many dozens of books are in print worldwide. Macomber's genre is women's fiction, but she's also written a number of knitting books. Her new novel is "Hannah's List."
