ER Wait Times/ Filmmakers/ 'Dying for a Date'/ Melopoeia

ER Wait Times A new study has found that emergency room wait times in California have increased since last year and are now an average of 4 hours and 34 minutes, which is longer than the national average. Today on Insight, we'll talk with the authors of the study about what they found and what it means for patients?

Student Filmmakers Two young local filmmakers are members of the first graduating class of the Art Institute-Sacramento and each one has a film in a showcase tonight at the Sacramento Music and Film Festival. One is about a local group of Parkour/Free-Running enthusiasts and the other is an exploration of man through social media. You'll meet the two filmmakers and hear about their work.

"Dying for a Date" A foothills author has released a new mystery set in Placerville and she has a signing this weekend. You'll meet Cindy Sample and hear about "Dying for a Date."

Melopoeia Sacramento musician Joe Berry has a new band, Melopoeia, and they are having a CD Release party this Sunday. All of the music on the CD "Satin Doll" is based on music content from the Billy Strayhorn standard "Satin Doll." Each member of the group wrote a different piece. You'll meet the band and hear some of the music.
