Back in Session The California state legislature is now back in session. Today on Insight, we'll talk with Capitol Bureau Chief Marianne Russ about what to expect - or not - from our lawmakers.

Prison Poetry "By Heart: Poetry, Prison, and Two Lives" is a memoir co-written by writing teacher Judith Tannenbaum and prisoner Spoon Jackson. Spoon has served 32 years on a life without possibility of parole sentence and Judith taught poetry at his prison. Tannenbaum is doing a reading tonight and you'll meet her and hear about the book.

Judith Tannenbaum is doing a reading from "By Heart: Poetry, Prison, and Two Lives" at 6 p.m. today at the Sacramento Poetry Center, 1719 25th St., Sacramento.

"Tango!" In 2006, journalist Camille Cusumano went to Buenos Aires planning to stay only two months. After just two days, she canceled her return ticket and became a tango missionary. She tells her story in "Tango! An Argentine Love Story." Cusumano will perform a live demonstration of the Argentine tango at the Squaw Valley Institute in Tahoe today and will talk about the tango and writing communities of Buenos Aires.

Molly Fisk Nevada City poet Molly Fisk has a new collection of work out and she'll be doing a reading tonight in Davis. You'll meet her and hear about her work.

Molly Fisk will be reading at 8 p.m. today at the Poetry Night Reading Series at Bistro 33, 226 F St., Davis.
