Wild Horse/Sheriffs/Peppino D'Agostino/Todd Borg/Fatum

Wild Horse Round-up The Bureau of Land Management recently had a campaign to rework their policy of rounding up and redistributing "excess" wild horses and burros on federal land after questions and controversy arose around the current management of the program. We talked with Tom Gorey, Senior Public Affairs Specialist with the BLM, in addition to other guests on the June 21st edition of Insight about it. BLM is currently doing a round-up in Lassen County and the Sac Bee’s Sam Stanton is there covering it. Today on Insight, we’ll talk to him about what he’s seen.

Sheriffs Today, Pensions Tomorrow? Sacramento County supervisors delayed a vote until today on a plan to save 85 Sheriff’s department jobs after financial details of the proposal were released at Tuesday's meeting. What are the details? Why is the county and union in support of the plan? What will the costs be in the long run to the pension system? We'll talk with Sac County CEO Steve Szalay about it.

Fatum Jazz Big-band jazz written by a 20-year-old from Sacramento will take the 24th Street Theater stage this weekend. You'll meet the members of the Fatum Jazz Orchestra and hear them perform live in our studio.
