High Cost of Textbooks As students head
back to university, many are grappling with how to pay for the
textbooks they need. Why are textbooks so expensive and what
alternatives do students have? Today on Insight, we'll talk about
the high costs of textbooks.
Father Boyle Father Gregory Boyle is the
founder of Homeboy Industries, the largest gang intervention
program in the country. It brings rival gang members together to
work on community issues and projects.

"Neat" A one-woman, multi-character piece
about an African-American woman's coming of age is running at the B
Street Theatre. The actress is Danielle Truitt, who's from
Sacramento but now lives in LA. You'll meet her and hear what it's
like to star in "Neat."
"Neat" runs through Oct. 2nd at the B Street Theatre, 2711 B
St., Sacramento. Performances are at 7 p.m. Tuesdays through
Fridays, 2 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Saturdays and 1 p.m. Sundays.

Hasan Minhaj A comedian, actor, and writer
based in Los Angeles, Hasan Minhaj is originally from San Francisco
and has appeared on E!'s 'Chelsea Lately' and is a regular
correspondent on Yahoo!'s 'OMG the 411'. He's headlining a
Sacramento comedy benefit show Thursday for the victims of the
flood in Pakistan. You'll meet him.
