Rain in the Region A big storm moved through the region over the weekend and another is expected soon. Area reservoirs released a lot of water last week in anticipation of the projected rainfall. What's the forecast like for the next week and how are the reservoirs doing?

Sewage Upgrade A strict new sewage discharge permit was approved recently. Local officials have warned that it could triple sewage treatment bills for 500,000 ratepayers in the Sacramento metro area. We've spoken with the head engineer of the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District, who's been tasked with doing the upgrades, and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board, the state regulators who approved the permit. Today on Insight, we'll hear from interested parties on both sides.

Conaway Ranch The cities of Davis and Woodland are considering a deal to purchase thousands of acre-feet of water from Sacramento developer Angelo K. Tsakopoulos, who is in the process of buying the Conaway Ranch. Yolo County supervisors approved it last week. Jon Edwards from the Davis Enterprise join us to explain what's going on.

Debora Iyall Singer Debora Iyall of the '80s band Romeo Void is probably best known for this classic lyric "I might like you better if we slept together." Debora Iyall wrote and sang that line as the lead singer of '80s New Wave band Romeo Void. The song was "Never Say Never" and the band went on to have a bigger hit with "A Girl in Trouble (Is a Temporary Thing)." Debora Iyall is back with a new band and new songs. You'll meet her and hear some of her music. This segment originally aired in April 2010.
