Nevada SOTS Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval gave his first State of the State address yesterday. We'll talk with KNPB-TV News Director Michael Hagerty about what Sandoval plans to do about the state's massive budget shortfall.

Living with Parkinson's Northern California attorney George L. Johnston has been living with Parkinson's Disease for a least 16 years. He was diagnosed at the age of 43. He's written a book about his life, "An Unexpected Journey: Living on the Edge of Life's Promise."

Oscar Nominations The 2010 Oscar nominations were announced this morning and they were full of snubs and surprises. We'll talk with Sacramento News & Review film critic Jonathan Kiefer about it. We'll also hear from Michael Sestak, chairman of Oscar Night Sacramento 2011, about the official viewing party that will be a fundraiser for Capital City AIDS Fund.

Trekking the Globe Irene Butler is a Canadian journalist and travel writer who visited Sacramento in September in support of her new book "Trekking the Globe With Mostly Gentle Footsteps: Twelve Countries in Twelve Months."
