Railyard Update What's happening with redevelopment in Sacramento's railyards district? We'll get an update from Inland American spokeman and consultant Jared Ficker on the Sacramento Railyards project.

Shari Fitzpatrick We'll talk with Roseville businesswoman Shari Fitzpatrick, who founded the widely successful Shari's Berries, about her new book "Berried in Chocolate: How I Built a Multimillion-dollar Business By Doing What I Love to Do and How You Can Too."

Fight Director The Sacramento Ballet has brought in a theatrical fight director to help with the fight scenes in its latest production of "Romeo and Juliet." We'll talk with Dexter Fidler about the history of swords in their social context and what it was like to work with Robin Williams for the film "Peter Pan."

"Romeo and Juliet" opens Thursday, Feb. 10th and runs thorugh Sunday, Feb. 13th at the Community Center Theater, 1301 L St., Sacramento. Performaces are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Information: (916) 552-5800.

Joyce Carol Thomas African American poet, playwright and children's author Joyce Carol Thomas is this year's Words Take Wing Children's literature lecturer at UC Davis. Her work celebrates the folk traditions and history of African-American women, children and families in America and she is known for her young adult novels, poetry, and picture books, as well as fiction and plays for adults. 

Words Take Wing Presentations by Joyce Carol Thomas are scheduled at UC Davis on Wednesday, Feb. 9th at 10:30 a.m. in Freeborn Hall and 7 p.m. at the Alumni and Visitors Center. Information: (530) 752-1915.
