Elk Grove Schools School districts across California are preparing to make massive cuts yet again, including doing away with school sports and extracurricular activities, as the state struggles to close a huge budget gap. We'll talk about it with Elk Grove Superintendent Steven Ladd about what's happening in the Elk Grove Unified School District.

A documentary about the program will screen at the Unversity of the Pacific in Stockton tomorrow. We'll talk with Tofteland about his work.

"Shakespeare Behind Bars" will screen at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 23rd in the Janet Leigh Theatre, University of the Pacific, Stockton. A Q&A session with Curt Tofteland will follow the screening.

No Day Without Noise A local man is trying to record a song or audio work each and every day. Most of the pieces by Zacharias Flynn are improvised or thought up moments before he hits record, while other are collages of audio samples gathered that day. We'll talk with Flynn about his project No Day Without Noise and why he's doing it.
