Here We Build As the Kings prepare to play their last home game this week against the Los Angeles Lakers, a group of local citizens continues to raise money for a new sports and entertainment complex. Today on Insight, we'll talk with Carmichael Dave about the Here We Build campaign.

Max Raabe German cabaret singer Max Raabe brings his Weimar-era cabaret to Davis. Channeling the high style and musical glory of the 1920s and 1930s with uncanny precision, drama, and humor, Max Raabe & Palast Orchester perform a mix of German and American standards. You'll meet Raabe and hear how he got started.

"The Spirit of John Muir" Actor Lee Stetson has played many characters during his decades as an actor, but the one he's best known for is naturalist and explorer John Muir. Stetson has played Muir in five different statge shows since 1983, and was recently featured as the voice of Muir in Ken Burns PBS series, "The National Parks." You'll meet Stetson and hear why he continues to take on such an iconic role.

"Die Fledermaus" Sac State's opera department is staging an updated version of the 1870s opera "Die Fledermaus." Originally set in 1870s Vienna, Austria, Die Fledermaus tells how Gabriel von Eisenstein, facing eight days in jail, tells his wife Rosalinde that he is off to serve his time, but instead attends a lavish party.

Sacramento State's Opera Theatre presents "Die Fledermaus" at 8 p.m. Friday, April 15th and Saturday, April 16th and 3 p.m. Sunday, April 17th at California Stage, 2509 R St., Sacramento. Information: (916) 451-5822.
