Foster Youth Privacy A bill that would make some foster child court proceedings open to the public is facing criticism from youth advocates. Today on Insight, we'll talk about transparency and accountability versus privacy when it comes to foster youth. Ed Howard is the Senior Counsel at the Children's Advocacy Institute, which supports Assembly Bill 73 sponsored by legislator Mike Feuer, D-Los Angeles, and Chantel Johnson is the Legislative and Policy Coordinator for California Youth Connection, which opposes the bill. Johnson is also a former foster youth.
