Local Redistricting Every 10 years, cities and counties are responsible for redrawing voter districts according to Census data. On the next Insight, we'll hear how the City and County of Sacramento plan to do this. We'll talk with Jill LaVine, Sacramento County's Registrar of Voters about how the county plans to tackle redistricting, and Cassandra Jennings, assistant city manager who's leading the redistricting effort for the City of Sacramento.

SacPress In our regular weekly segment, we talk about local issues in the news with SacPress Editor-in-Chief David Watts Barton.

KlickNation You'll hear about an online gaming company based in Midtown Sacramento. After using the money he made from opening a yogurt shop, Mark Otero started up game company KlickNation. We'll talk with him and one of his designers, Aaron Nemoyten, about what it's like to create games for social media.

"Lost in Africa" Actress Connie Nielsen - of "Gladiator" and "Rushmore" fame - will present the U.S. premiere of "Lost In Africa" Saturday at the Mondavi Center at UC Davis. The suspense-filled film follows the travails of Simon, an 11-year-old adoptee and soccer fan, who returns to Kenya with his mother (Nielsen) only to get lost in one of Nairobi's largest slums. While on location, Nielsen was exposed to Kibera, the second largest slum in Africa. The searing poverty impelled her to found the Human Needs Project, a Bay Area-based foundation committed to providing clean water, energy and technology to slums around the world.

Connie Nielsen will present the U.S. premiere screening of "Lost in Africa" at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 21st in the Vanderhoef Studio Theatre at the Mondavi Center at UC Davis. Information: (530) 754-2787
