AIDS Expert/New Dean The UC Davis College of Biological Sciences has a new Dean who is a prominent AIDS researcher. We'll ask James Hildreth about his assessment of AIDS in the world and his vision for the future of Biological Sciences at UC Davis, as well as his first impressions as the new dean.
Lincoln Fire Chief Lincoln's Fire Chief, Dave Whitt, joins us to talk about this week's mandatory evacuation of nearly five thousand homes after a 29,000 gallon propane train tanker caught fire and was in danger of exploding.  We'll talk with Whitt about what he learned from the experience, and what the city is planning to do to prevent situations like this in the future since trains carrying volatile chemicals will continue to pass through and be stored in Lincoln.
Yolo Solar The Yolo County Board of Supervisors is developing an ordinance to protect their farm land from being converted into solar panel fields.  We'll speak with Yolo County Supervisor Don Saylor, who would like to see a measured approach to building solar projects on Yolo's prime farmland.  We'll also speak with Senator Lois Wolk - who represents Davis - and has introduced a bill offering incentives to build solar projects on marginal or unused farmland
Dancing With Pain Next week we'll speak with Loolwa Khazzoom about her natural approach to rehabilitation and the launch of her Dancing with Pain class series in Sacramento over the weekend.
