Johnson's First Term Sacramento Mayor Kevin
Johnson announced yesterday afternoon he's running for a second
term. We'll speak with Sacramento Bee Metro reporter Ryan Lillis about Johnson's performance in his
first term, and what kind of opposition the mayor may face from
competitors or voters.
Cruz Reynoso The award-winning
documentary, "Cruz Reynoso: Sowing the Seeds of
Justice," about the first Latino to be appointed to
the California Supreme Court, will be broadcast on public
television throughout September, which is Hispanic Heritage
Month. We'll speak with Cruz Reynoso about his documentary and his time
as a state supreme court justice. His documentary airs
in Sacramento on Monday, September 26th.
James McMurtry The American River Music Festival will take
place this weekend. We talk to acclaimed musician James
McMurtry who is preforming at the festival.
