Insight: Unsafe Public Works / Environmental Beat / Sacramento Sewers / Ryan Seng's Sensual Art

Unsafe Public Works An investigative report in the Sacramento Bee found inspection flaws on the new section of the Bay Bridge, calling into question the safety of the project.  We'll speak with Sacramento Bee investigative reporter Charles Piller about what he found.
Environmental Beat  Capital Public Radio environmental reporter, Joe Rubin, will update us on some environmental topics he's been working on.  He's been swimming alongside sea otters in Big Sur, touring UC Davis' new West Village and keeping an eye on fracking in the Sacramento area.
Sacramento Sewer The amount of money it would take to fix Sacramento's aging sewer and water system could buy six downtown sports arenas.  We'll talk with city officials about plans to replace more than a hundred miles of aging water and sewer pipes rotting beneath the city
Ryan Seng Artist Ryan Seng has organized an "Amazing Bus Trip!" from the Citizen Hotel in downtown Sacramento to his latest reception at Brewster's in Galt.  Seng's work can also be seen at The Shady Lady Saloon in Sacramento.
