David Gergen Political analyst, best-selling author, and advisor to four U.S. presidents, David Gergen, is speaking in Sacramento today.  We'll talk with him about some of the latest news highlights.

 

The Natomas Buzz  The online news website, the Natomas Buzz, joins Insight's news network.  Founder, publisher, and reporter Brandy Tuzon Boyd has been investigating the difficulties making Natomas pedestrian-friendly.   

John Carlos   The famous Olympian who in 1968 raised his fist on the podium and ignited a firestorm of criticism against what many believed to be a "black power" salute, will speak at the University of the Pacific tonight.  His new book, "The John Carlos Story," chronicles the fallout from his iconic posturing; He received a lot of death threats since and wasn't able to find employment for many years.

 

Elliott Brown Pop singer-songwriter Elliott Brown, who's also a student at Sacramento State, has a new album out called "Wide Awake and Dreaming"; he'll play in our studio.
