Insight: LAO Budget Review / Wild & Scenic Film Festival / Harlem Globetrotters / Sound Advice: Coachella


Legislative Analyst Office's Budget Review The Legislative Analyst Office's first review of California Governor Jerry Brown's 2012-2013 budget proposal says the administration's revenue projections for the next year are more questionable than usual and cuts to social services are "too severe."  But the LAO's review, which was released Wednesday, also finds areas of credible budget savings.
 
Wild and Scenic Film Festival Bobby McMullen, a legally blind competitive mountain biker, is the star of the film "The Way Bobby Sees It," which is being screened at the Wild and Scenic Film Festival in Nevada City this weekend. Also being shown this weekend is a documentary about the history of California's state parks.     
 
Harlem Globetrotters TNT Maddox and Handles Franklin from the Harlem Globetrotters join us.  The team is performing at Power Balance Pavilion Sunday.
