INNOVATE Leader's of the Sacramento Region's technology industry will gather Thursday to discuss new ways to create high-paying jobs and advance the area's economy through innovation.  The annual technology event, INNOVATE, is led by the Sacramento Area Regional Technology Alliance and is partnering with Next Economy, a public-private partnership formed to create a regional economic prosperity plan.

Charles Munch  UC Davis music professor Dr. Kern Holoman has written the first English language biography of Charles Munch. Born in France, Charles Munch led the Boston Symphony from 1949-1962 and during those years he made a string of very famous recordings for RCA.  He was also a mentor to Seiji Ozawa, who later became music director in San Francisco and later Boston.

Sea of Bees Sea of Bees is Julie Anne Bee (ne Julie Ann Baenziger), who is about to release her second album, "Orangefarben," which was recorded in Sacramento. She is gaining national traction, will be playing SXSW next month in Austin and recently played NewYork City and other cities across the country.
