President, Mark Yudof, discusses the need to change the
funding structure of the UC system and the fallout from the UC
Davis Pepper Spray Report. Yudof, with California State
University Chancellor Charles B. Reed and California Community
Colleges Chancellor Jack Scott, are leading a Capitol Advocacy Blitz Tuesday morning to
pressure the legislature to increase funding for higher education.

Meneses was the first Mexican woman to represent her country
around the world on the classical guitar circuit. Her songs
are artful, bursting with life and brimming with traditional
Mexican influences. Meneses will be playing at Folsom's Three Stages May 5 and
6 in celebration of Cinco de Mayo.
