News Network Roundup In a special edition of
our weekly News Network signature segment we'll speak with four of
the region's leading reporters, editors, and/or columnists to see
what's making news in Downtown Sacramento, the Central
Valley, and the Foothills.
In The Flow Festival 35 artists and musicians
from as far as Portland and Los Angeles will be performing at
Sacramento's 5th annual In The Flow Festival, which
starts Thursday. It's the only festival in Sacramento that
brings jazz, rock, blues, poetry, spoken word and electronic music
together for four days. This year's festival
features musicians like saxophonist Vinny Giola from Los
Angeles and Phillip Greenlief from the Bay Area. Sacramento's 5th In The Flow
Festival runs through the weekend.
Sacramento City Chorale Society Sacramento
City College Chorale will be performing at Carnegie Hall on May
27th, 2012. The choir, from 50 to 100 members strong, puts on
at least two major concerts per semester, performing all genres of
music--gospel, spirituals, popular, show tunes, folk songs and
major works. The Sacramento City College Chorale will perform
