Realty Wrap Up Harvard University released its annual State of the Nation's Housing report last week.  It says housing markets are showing signs of reviving, rental markets have turned the corner, home sales are strengthening, and a floor is beginning to form under home prices.  And if you're a renter, you should seriously consider buying a home.  For more information on the report, you can link to the Mortgage News Daily article.

Your Cat: The Owner's Manual  Bill SB969A is a controversial bill in the California Senate that has the potential to make California the first state in the nation to require pet groomers to get vocational licenses. Veterinarians and pet owners are concerned for the safety of the animals and pet groomers are worried that the new regulations will drive them out of business.  But, if you'd like to steer clear of the issue, you can consider grooming your pet yourself.  Dr. Marty Becker has been a popular contributor to "Good Morning America" for 16 years, is the resident veterinarian on "The Dr. Oz Show," and is the pet expert for AARP.  His most recent book is  "Your Cat: The Owner's Manual." He'll be signing copies from 1:30 - 3 p.m., on Wednesday, June 20th , at Petco on Arden Way in Sacramento.  We'll also speak with Pet Connection writer & blogger Gina Spadafori of VetStreet, an expert on the caring of pets.
