State Parks Reprieve Are you planning to
visit a California State Park this Fourth of July?
There was a time when 70 of those parks were slated to be closed,
but many of them have seen reprieves. Today on Insight, we'll talk
with State Parks Director Ruth Coleman about the parks that will

Professor Nick Trujillo created a fictional musical
character - Gory
Bateson - complete with YouTube videos for a potential book a
la Spinal Tap. Since then, he has launched a small music publishing
company and released an album under the Batesman moniker. His
second album, "That is (Still) the Question," comes out today and
he's celebrating with a release party at the Torch Club in
Sacramento. We'll talk with him about the character and why he
continues to make music under his alias.
