Sacramento's Business Climate Sacramento and California have a reputation for not having the best business climate.   But recently, 20 of the region's companies made Inc. Magazine's list of the 5,000 fastest growing companies in the world.  We'll explore the Sacramento area's business climate by looking at what attracts businesses to the region and what makes them successful.  We'll also speak with Sacramento City Councilmember Jay Schenirer, who is trying to weed out city regulations that make it harder for companies to do business in the area.

Toni Bruna A rising European musician is making a relatively quiet tour of California this summer.  Toni Bruna is an Italian musician who composes all his music with lyrics in his native tongue, Triestin, a dying dialect.  If you're unfamiliar with Trieste, it's also a city on the Italian side of the country's border with Slovenia.  Bruna released his first album "Formigole" in May 2011 and it was selected "album revelation of the year in 2011" by Radio Ara, in Luxemburg. He has also been invited to give interviews and perform live at the RAI radio station in Italy, the country's equivalent of NPR.  Toni will be playing with Ross Hammond and Amy Reed at Luna's Café Saturday, September 1.
