petition to move the Sacramento Kings to Seattle be denied. This is
not the final say in the Kings saga but it does have good
implications for the Sacramento ownership group seeking to keep the
basketball team. It also has some political implications for
Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson, who has staked nearly his entire
tenure in city government on building a new sports and
entertainment complex. We'll get the details from the NBA with

Political Cartoons Cross Line? Some people
say Sacramento Bee Editorial Cartoonist Jack Ohman's cartoon about the fertilizer plant
explosion in West, Texas was a perfect balance of social commentary
without being disrespectful to the victims. Others -like Texas Governor Rick Perry's- say it was a
"detestable attempt at satire." Editorial cartoons are almost - by
their very nature - supposed to cross "the line" and push "the
envelope," but how does a cartoonist know where the "line" is and
did Ohman's cartoon cross it? We'll speak with Ohman and fellow
editorial cartoonist Nick Anderson from the Houston Chronicle about
walking the line between satirical and offensive.
Leila Fowler The manhunt continues for the
unknown killer of Leila Fowler, an 8-year-old girl in Calaveras
County. Calaveras Enterprise Reporter Joel Metzger
joins us to explain what little we know about the case as details
in the seemingly-random murder slowly emerge.

anniversary with a concert this Sunday by the Capitol Steps. The
