6:23 p.m. - Officials say the Rock Fire burning in Lake County continues to progress and has moved southwest towards Lowe Lake and the east side of Clearlake.
Cal Fire says the Lake County Sheriff's Office and the Clearlake Police Department have issued an advisory evacuation of all areas east of Highway 29 starting at Riata Road to the Highway 53 junction. As well as all areas east of Highway 53 north to Highway 20 and Ogulin Canyon Road.
"An evacuation advisory is not a mandatory evacuation but it is strongly recommended," according to a message on the Cal Fire website. "Residents are advised to gather their medications, pets and important papers. Residents should be prepared to leave the area with little notice. If residents are evacuated they may seek shelter at the Middletown High School or the Kelseyville High School."
Mandatory evacuations are in place for the Jerusalem Valley area east of Soda Creek, west of Soda Creek, Bonham Road, Quarter Horse Lane, Mustang Court, Bronco Court, Sunset Court and Morgan Valley Road east of Bonham Road"
2:45 p.m. - Cal Fire reports the Rocky Fire has grown to 18,000 acres, with containment holding at 5 percent.

11:15 a.m. - YubaNet is reporting that the Lake County Sheriff's office has issued a new mandatory evacuation order for the Jerusalem Valley area east of Soda Creek.
7:15 a.m. - The Rocky Fire in Lake County has grown overnight to 15,000 acres and remains only 5 percent contained.
Three residences and multiple outbuildings have been destroyed and damaged.
Cal Fire says the blaze is burning in steep, rugged terrain, making access difficult for fire crews.
About 1,000 firefighters are battling the blaze.
