Many of today's popular holiday tunes were first recorded during the Swing Era in the 1930's and 40's. That connection between big bands and the holiday season has never waned. These days singers like Veronica Swift, Cecile McLorin Salvant and Norah Jones are delivering holiday classics in front of large ensembles. This hour-long special is filled with swinging arrangments of well known and not so well known holiday songs.
