That Voice You've Been Asking About

  •  Nick Brunner
Tuesday, December 16, 2014

CapRadio’s year end promo has seemingly perked a lot of ears.

Of course it’s edited, which makes it all the more impressive when you consider the amount of emails, tweets and Facebook posts we've received asking about it.

The track in question is “Mercury Dime” and the voice belongs to male soprano Joel Thibodeau. He makes music under the name Death Vessel and his third record Island Intervals was released in February on Sub Pop Records.

It lands high on my list of 2014 favorites, hear Death Vessel’s “Mercury Dime” and many more of the best pop from 2014 during Blue Dog Jam’s year end special on December 27th.
