Fashionista Boyfriend Travels Far With His ‘Atlas’ on ‘TONAL EP’

Fashionista Boyfriend (Austin Mooney, James Petropoulos, Casey Groat, Miles Taylor) performed “Atlas” live in the Insight studio with music from "TONAL EP" before the record release party.

Casey Groat started Fashionista Boyfriend as a solo project until he decided to expand the lineup for live performances. Groat and bassist James Petropoulos have been friends for years and once played in a screamo band together. Saxophonist Myles Taylor met them both through the Sacramento music scene. Drummer Austin Taylor answered a fateful Craigslist ad that completed the quartet.

Fashionista Boyfriend released the debut album “Hypnophobia” and the “Hypnophobia Remixes” EP earlier this year. The band stopped by the Insight studio to debut music from the new “TONAL EP” earlier this month.

They stopped by the Insight studio to speak with Insight producer Cody Drabble and perform new music from the both "TONAL EP" and "Hypnophobia."
