Sparks Across Darkness Opens Up His Curiosity Cabinet On ‘Obscura’

Sparks Across Darkness is the stage name of emcee Anthony Giovanini. He’s a member of the hip hop band Monsters and Thieves, along with emcee TIP Vicious (a.k.a. Tyler Todd), drummer and beat producer Mello Hall, and DJ Nocturnal (a.k.a. Chris Jaime).

"Obscura" features guest performances by Hobo Johnson, SpaceWalker, Charlie Muscle, Chuuwee, Hailey Lynch-Bastion and Alex Salveson.

They stopped by the Insight studio to speak with Insight producer Cody Drabble and perform new music from the Sparks Across Darkness debut album “Obscura” with special guest guitarist Dylan Jarman from Shotgun Sawyer.

Sparks Across Darkness and his band Monsters and Thieves are hosting another installment of their “Midnight Marauders” show series at Blue Lamp on September 23 with performances by Shane Quidachay, Nate Curry, Signor Benedick the Moor, and special guest comedian Shahera Hyatt.
