It may have a long name, but it may also be the best resource for learning everything about the American River. "The American River Insider’s Guide to Recreation, Ecology and Cultural History of the North, Middle and South Forks," is a comprehensive guidebook written by a group of river guides, hikers, historians, wildlife lovers and fishermen.

The new edition includes all the information you need to know to have fun on or around any part of the American River. Eric Peach is one of the main contributors to the guide. He joins us to explain how to get the most pleasurable experience out of the American River as summer approaches.
