Sacramento County saw a spike in drug overdoses last week. The culprit: Norco tablets potentially contaminated with fentanyl, a fast-acting synthetic opiate 30 to 50 times more potent than heroin. Fentanyl-related deaths have been increasing across the country as more and more youth gain access to the drug.
