This week the California Department of Water Resources is presenting "Flood Preparedness Week" across the state.

With recent wildfires scarring large swaths of Northern California, the department is focusing some of its information and efforts on potential flooding issues in burned areas.

Deputy Director of the Flood Operations Center Darren Suen joins Insight in studio to talk about what the public can do to prepare for potential flooding and explain how wildfires increase flooding hazards in certain areas.
