Sacramento’s own Cahersiveen uniquely blends classically trained musicians with traditional Celtic music. Thousands of Irish emigrated from Cahersiveen in County Kerry, Ireland, during the potato famine and emigrated to Northern California during the Gold Rush era. The band, whose music pays tribute to its Irish roots, will be performing at 3 p.m on Sunday, Feb. 4, at Pioneer Church.
