One of the best things a young performer can do to improve is to play with seasoned and professional musicians. The Sacramento Preparatory Music Academy attempts to do just that for music students in underserved schools.
Benjamin McClara is the academy's artistic director and he's turned his love for all-things Beatles into a fundraising concert happening this weekend at Quarry Park in Rocklin.
McClara scored two of the Beatles biggest albums, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonley Hearts Club Band" and "Revolver," for a 40-piece orchestra.
