Republican gubernatorial candidate John Cox made a claim recently regarding his competitor in this year’s election, Democrat Gavin Newsom. Cox said that Newsom separated and deported families while he was mayor of San Francisco. PolitiFact California reporter Chris Nichols takes a look at the claim and explains what he found.
