Dissect podcast creator Cole Cuchna is turning his attention to Tyler, The Creator’s 2017 album “Flower Boy.” Tyler, The Creator is better known as the producer and rapper who founded the alternative hip hop collective Odd Future. Prior seasons of Dissect examined the music of Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Frank Ocean and Lauryn Hill.

In December, New York Times culture writer Wesley Morris selected Dissect as one of the Five Great Podcasts From 2018, writing:

Most great art refuses to let your appreciation hit bottom. The bottomlessness is part of what lures you back. That painting, movie, play, book, star never stops giving. But Cole Cuchna’s album podcast, “Dissect,” actually attempts to bottom out, close-reading great records with college-lecture authority and autograph-hound zeal.

Cole Cuchna returns to Insight to mark the all-platforms launch of the Spotify exclusive podcast “Dissect” and preview some of the themes and motifs that he will pull apart on the new season.
