There are now 23 people in the contest for the Democratic presidential nomination. The most recent addition is New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. But, it’s not clear yet if the field is complete.

On the Republican side, Former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld has declared as a challenger to President Donald Trump. So far, he’s the only one. But, there are murmurings that current Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan may also enter the race to challenge the sitting president.

Meanwhile, various members of the executive branch are fighting with various Congressional committee chairs about a whole host of issues, primarily surrounding document requests. There have also been more revelations from memos supporting the Mueller Report, and one lone GOP Congressman went on CNN to express his concern about the conflict between the executive branch and Congress.

Political Junkie Ken Rudin joins Insight to weigh in on these and other doings in Washington, D.C.
