Shawn Thwaites Rebel Quartet fuses the sounds of a Trinidadian steel drum with jazz, hip hop, blues and afro-beat music. A chance encounter at the grocery store led to a new collaboration with singer Camilla Covington. They released their new song “Moon” for the 2019 Tiny Desk Contest, and the collaboration continues to grow in new musical directions.
